Christmas Day. It didn't really roll out as I had pictured. Jack stayed up late Christmas Eve and then slept in Christmas morning. Gift giving began before he was fully awake. For the next week he rediscovered the toys he'd recieved. Here you see me opening his Lion King figures. He looks ... confused and really, really tired. I am looking forward to next year when he really gets it.

Christmas Eve.

You see our boy taking a bath to get ready for church. Two of his least favorite things as displayed by his expression.

Next, he's playing tea party with his grandma -- don't worry it was a very masculine tea party that likely included a lot of splashing.

And now you see his bum.

Per Daddy's family tradition, gift giving first begins Christmas Eve. Here you see him digging into an activity book his Cinci Aunty gave him. While he's covering himself with Pixar stickers above he later mastered the book that was actually geared toward a 7 and up crowd.

Note the stance. Ouch! But no seriously, do we have another catcher in our midst?

And finally, Big Lightening McQueen. Ka-chow! Here he's showing Mama's Grandpa all the whistles and bells. This is the one gift I knew he'd be thrilled about ... A few weeks before he threw himself on the floor of Walmart displaying he may die if he didn't get it. And after Mama said no, he began crying for his Ga. He knew Ga would get it for him. (Look kid, Ga and Ma came through.)

Here's Jack playing with Lightning McQueen waiting his turn to meet Santa. He wasn't scared a bit. (Why that expression? He's making engine noises.)

And here's Jack with the big man. When asked what he wanted for Christmas, he said Cars. Big surprise, right?
